CoviLab is a private clinical laboratory staffed by Lab Directors and Lab Technicians with a wide range of molecular knowledge. CoviLab has devoted significant effort to bring COVID-19 testing to North Carolina. Our RT-PCR test for the COVID-19 virus (SARS-CoV-2) can detect active viral infection. We work with long-term care facilities, companies, schools, county governments, and pharmacies. At our Charlotte location we provide drive-up testing to people traveling internationally, individuals who have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 or have symptoms associated with COVID-19, or people who need or want testing prior to elective surgery or visiting loved ones.

Our Expertise
CoviLab has years of experience in molecular test development and disease research. Although for the last year we have focused on providing COVID-19 testing for our region, we are continuing our research efforts to develop new diagnostic tools to improve the care of children and adults with cancer.

We use the Accula CoV-2 test which has an EUA from the FDA and can be used for screening or symptomatic individuals.
24 Hour delivery
COVID19 RT-PCR for TRAVEL 24-hour Turnaround Time - Online Booking Only This is the gold standard test for active viral infection and accepted by airlines and for nati onal or international travel. A full report with type of test, methods used, time and date of test will be provided.
48 Hour delivery
COVID 19 TEST. This test is not meant for travel. Select this option for work or if you want to get tested in general (not for travel). Our CoviLab COVID 19 test detect the presence of the SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid protein antigen, not for any other viruses or pathogens. This is a lateral flow immunochromatographic assay intended for the qualitative detection of the nucleocapsid protein antigen from SARS-CoV-2 in nasopharyngeal or anterior nasal swab specimens.
